This Wednesday I had to sub a step class, it was fun, but my heels were not happy with me afterwards. Step can be so much fun, but I find it to be the hardest on my body, which is really weird to me because it is not even close to fatiguing as some of the other work outs I do.
I used a faster paced step music because the combinations do not have a lot of movement 135bpm.
Combo #1:
2 Mambo chachacha's corner to corner (c to c)
2 Knee ups c to c
1 Rpt Knee up (variation: half hop over bench and 3 quick hops back to start position, keeping same foot on floor and bench) let me know if you need a better description for this
2 Kicks c to c
Combo #2:
2 Charleston Kicks
1 Over the Top
Walk 1/2 way around the bench
2 Rpt Hamcurls c to c
Combo #3:
1 L-step
2 Kicks c to co
1 L-step
1 Rpt Knee up (variation: Funky Knee Rpt, which is 1 knee up, do a little hip twist, 1 knee up
Combo #4:
2 Basics
2 Single Stomps c to c
1 Jumping Jack
1 Double L-step (2 in a row on one side)
Combo #5:
1 Basic
1 V-step
2 Side Leg Lifts
1 Mambo on bench, turn out and do 1 Mambo on the floor (it's like the mambo chachacha, but having 1 on the floor)
1 Rpt Knee
All combinations are 32 counts and self reversing. Enjoy!
